There is a clear, noticeable difference using Dolby Headphone technology to expand the sound stage into a more realistic listening experience. Going forward I expect that I will primarily use this for watching movies both on my iPod as well as at home to get a better surround sound experience. With this being discontinued and being such a good addition to the listening experience, I would hope that Apple considers integrating Dolby Headphone into its iPods and iPhones for the small royalty fee that Dolby would ask.
